About Me

What a surprise to find you here, I'm Makenna!

I'm currently a graduating senior at Winthrop University on track to earn my BA in Design with a concentration in illustration. Sharing my love of art with others is my greatest joy, which I aim to achieve by serving as Vice President for our on campus illustration club, The Society of Illustrators (or SOILL for short).

 

Once I graduate, I hope to pursue my dream of creating picture books.​ I'm a passionate storyteller of the whimsical and fantastical, which are the common themes I like to explore in my work.

When I'm not drawing, you can catch me trying to keep up with my too many hobbies. Whether I'm reading, playing video games, crocheting, jamming on my guitar, crafting, or making Lego stop motions, I'm sure to be keeping myself busy.
